Challenge

As part of a £400m transformation project at Bristol Airport, Air Systems SW Ltd was tasked with ventilating a new area in the expanded facility.

Specific component requirements meant the project had escalated in complexity. Rather than a standard heat recovery unit, Air Systems SW Ltd instead required a bespoke AHU solution capable of delivering against precise filtration, airflow, noise, and size requirements.

Solution

Results

Air Vent Technology successfully met all design and performance requirements with its bespoke AHU solution.

Internal carbon and grease filters ensured the unit met specific filtration standards. Internal attenuation kept operational noise levels acceptably low. And, by keeping everything contained under a strict height limitation, our design team ensured the unit was not visible above any part of the airport’s roofline.
